Very predictable result when fourth ranked BritishSheffield College (7-2) defeated 16th ranked Italian BTG Academy (4-4) 76-66 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Sheffield College. BTG Academy managed to win second period 22-20 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sheffield College dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to BTG Academy 's 26. They outrebounded BTG Academy 52-38 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Kelvin Talbot who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Lukah McKenzie chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was French center Anton Mendy (207-2006) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points, 17 rebounds and 5 blocks and Irish guard Eoin Potito (185-2007) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BTG Academy's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Sheffield College have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 7-2 record. Loser BTG Academy keeps the sixteenth place with four games lost. They share the position with Vienna Utd. and IBA Bologna.
